Kite Club Hatteras Fall Season

Kite Club Hatteras is in full swing this Summer, offering kiteboarding lessons, accommodations and good times in the Outer Banks of North Carolina.
The Outer Banks is regarded as kiteboarding paradise, with miles of waist deep water and consistent thermal winds, making for the best kiting conditions in the world, and one of the safest locations for newbie kiteboarders. Kite Club Hatteras’s certified IKO instructors teach kiteboarding according to the International Kiteboarding Organization’s methodology and have seen all levels of kiteboarders come through and progress with the program. The new Kite Club Hatteras boat has brought the school’s lessons to an increased level of ease and safety by taking students to the best locations for learning and for assisted downwinders once students get up on and riding on the board and traveling downwind.
Staying at the Kite Club Hatteras house is a great way to meet new people and immerse yourself in the global kiteboarding community. You are made to feel “at home” in the easy going, friendly atmosphere, of the house with organized group dinners and outings. The house boasts a fully equipped kitchen, spacious living area and clean bedrooms and bathrooms. Located in Avon there are several kiting spots within a five minute drive and the canal access to the sound can get you onto the water even faster by boat.

Note from Hristo Stoyanov, Owner of Kite Club Hatteras: “We’re having a really fun and active season this year, we’ve met some really great people from all over the States (and world too.) The Summer winds have been blowing strong and consistently and we’re looking forward to a promising fall Season.”

Since we all got a great season so far on the island, we decided to extend our permanent housing for September and October in a couple houses down in OBX. Location is perfect - canal front in Northen Avon. There will be a weekly, daily and discounted monthly rates for OBX lovers:) If you get a room for a month you can share it with friends and family any time of the month, so yo can have permanent base for the upcoming windy season, and of course we can provide lessons, downinder shuttle and assisted riding.

hattykite I have a few questions...
1. Do you guys do this every year?
2. Is there a schedule for when the 7 day camp takes place or do you hold multiple ones?
3. If my son and I do the $980 camp package what would be the cost for my non kiting wife and younger son to stay?
4. What all is included in the camp package? Looking through the website it is a little confusing to me.
I would love to learn how to kite surf. I live in MN and have a 19 yr old boy who would love this too. We might make plans to come and do this next year. I would bring the wife and my younger son also. Being in MN with all of the lakes this has been my ultimate goal for kiting. I used to travel to Mrytle Beach every year for vacation and love the Carolina's. Thanks in advance.

hattykite I have a few questions...
1. Do you guys do this every year? - Yes we are full time in OBX

2. Is there a schedule for when the 7 day camp takes place or do you hold multiple ones? - We offer camps on permanent bases, you can visit us at anytime. Starting September and October we have extended housing, so you can even reserve a whole house for your friends.

3. If my son and I do the $980 camp package what would be the cost for my non kiting wife and younger son to stay?
If you do our full package you can bring a friend to share your room:)

4. What all is included in the camp package? Looking through the website it is a little confusing to me.

You will go over our full IKO course which 3 days/9hr of lessons, accommodations ( each student has a room that he/she can share) and a local catch seafood dinner:)

Let us know if you have any more lessons.
