Uh, do you have pictures? The frenzy doesn't come stock with a wrist leash, as it's designed to attach to a harness with a leash....

Keep the kayaks you might decide to try to figure out how to kite power them ;)

Can't fig out how to do that yet. Post pics is a little above my ability. But this is def a stock setup. I think its an 04/5.. Wrist leash runs up to center pt conection that ties trailing lines together at the leadlines. Safety releases everywhere on this kite! And I will be keeping 1 yak for playin with.....

Ah! Well, thanks to you I just read the 2004 frenzy instruction manual. And learned that it came with a wrist leash. You learn something new everyday!

You can simply attach your wrist attachment to your spreader bar. Just note if it is long enough.

Many kites started out using wrist leash. All moved to attaching to the harness. There must be a good reason. I know my trainer with wrist leash almost disconnected my shoulder . Fortunately the leash broke before I did! That was a fixed bridle so the brakes hit hard.

My original Airush LEI also came with a wrist leash.

As soon as I sell my 15' grumman "white water" canoe with 1.2hp motor I'll be ready for a 14' recreational/touring kayak.
As far as wrist leashes go try doing a chin-up with one hand while undoing the wrist leash with the other, its a pretty fair representation of a worst case scenario! There will be times when you really want to get away from that thing.

I don’t want to fly no safety.... first time out it on my wrist it was wrapping around the handle/lines (no big deal) but needed to pay attention and address it.... next time w/ wrist leash on spreader bar it loosened up the bar w/out me noticing and I found myself flying unhooked in some nice wind........so much for girls kite,,, it was a hand full, glad to have gotten that experience under my belt landing it was not a lot of fun... seems to me waist leash would give me more room to work the bar w/out incident and not compromise my safety. that wrist leash is for bailing out of a bad situation and at that pt I’m also guessing I want my hands free......oh yea, working on the kiteyak already... took a 11ft whitewater boat put 3 fins on the back....its a thruster. boat looks like a Hawian big wave board now and it tracks like a missile. think im gonna have to get one of those lobster kites

I have tried using a kite to power a 7' surf kayak and a 18.5' sea kayak. Nether were very successfull.

you could not steer the sea kayak at all and just got capsized downwind... The surf kayak was much better but it was still impossible to hold an edge for long. too much lift in the kite and too much bouyancy in the Kayak.

+ its pretty horrible capsizing while attached to a kite (safety leash only) though apparently my attempts to roll up using the kite were "F**king Hilarious"

Had some other mad ideas of adapting a paddle into a control bar or (less crazily) mounting a fixing point on the 'yak to allow you to hold the bar and the paddle simultaneously.

At the end of the day riding boards is the most fun kite powered transport but I'm British so I can't help trying stupid stuff :)

Stupid things can be tremendously fun!! I’m thinking about a rudder system and some stability fins and this boat might work w/ a kite… and if not and it is a crash and burn, well I will be so much the wiser. Thing is this yak couldn’t go straight before the fins..now I got a boat that’s a little wet but kind of nice… not to mention its mean looking
