Mad respect to inlanders and AWESOME NEWS!

So, I've been going to the United States Air Force Academy (in CO Springs) for over a year now and on my last leave, I decided to bring out my 12m Frenzy and board to have some fun in the athletic fields on campus. I HAVE NEVER DEALT WITH SUCH GUSTY WIND! Even east winds on the pacific don't come close. I gained some mad respect for those of you who have dealt with this from day one, not to mention grass (makes sliding SO difficult) I couldn't have imagined learning here. Ya'll have some great kite control.

Secondly, last week, I tried out for the Wings of Blue Academy parachute team and made it! I'm on the wings of Green (kinda like JV) right now and next year, God willing, will be on the Wings of Blue. So here's a video to get an idea of what I will be doing for the next 3 years!

Flying gusty wind in a small field is like riding an old wooden roller coaster , fun and exciting but at the end you feel a bit beat up. Congrats and good luck with the training , pretty amazing stuff.
