Ozone samurai 2 5m. A good step up from 3m into land boarding?
Hey, i'm sorry for spamming the forums a bit, i'm looking to get opinions on different kites as and when they come up on eBay however !
I want a kite that will be a step up from my 3m radsail, but not a massive step up that I won't be able to control, as I can be a nervous flyer.
I'm after a kite that is easy to control, fair amounts of steady power, not massive amounts of lift, high wind range, won't kill me if I make a
mistake, and will help me progress into land boarding.
Do you think the ozone samurai 2 5m is a good choice ? Any general thoughts and experiences of it ? Any other good options in fixed bridle kites and
sizes ? As i'm leaning away depower now after advice from people on this forum.
Quick replies would be appreciated as the action ends in just over an hour :o

Okay, thanks. What would you expect to pay for a ''used as new, crispy, RTF with handles lines and killers'' ? How much is too much ?

Great price!!!!
Good for you, and hey, for future reference check the "For Sale" section here on PKF when you might need something. It is only for members here, all
of whom are awesome people who WON'T steer you wrong. (plus you don't have to hassle with all the ebay malarkey).
I'm going to take a nap now

Congratulations. That's a really nice kite for the price and will really compliment what you are trying to accomplish with your progression to ATB.
Well done. 5M is my most frequently used kite size during the summer months where I live.

You will be very happy learning to fly this kite and it will probably stay in your quiver for many years. I flew a samurai last year I believe a 1.8
in like 35 mph winds @ wildwood and it was a lot of fun and performed great. The 5m will be great for you on days of clean wind. Keep that 3m too and
keep practicing with it. You will become a great pilot if you just go out and fly that thing (3m) like a stunt kite (static). I did that for almost a
year before buggy or harness and it made a huge dif. in my skills. Nice to see you got a great kite for your budget.
I know some will say overkill but get in the habit of wearing a helmet....You only have one head...protect it!

Glad you got it and sorry I dropped you. Wind was up !
I would have suggested you keep it under $200 delivered . Crispy and as new are good descriptive words. If the kite is , you got a decent deal . Ebay
can be an iffy place to shop for kites . Unfortunatley the best deals on kites on this forum are in North America.
I wish more people would make a quick post on here if shopping Ebay and not clear about what they are buying. We all just want to see folks getting
into the gear they need to progress safely. Almost everybody I have ever met who had a Sami' had a Love affiar with it. Usually smaller sizes because
they make such good high wind kites but I am sure the 5m will serve up that same stable, predictable nature. Learn to fly the heck out of that Sami'
to create power in low wind and it will give you the range you request! Purchasing a set of 15m lines for high winds will be a cheap way to extend
the range even further.
