South Georgia Coast/ Jekyll Island

Any kite buggy activity on Jekyll Isand beaches? I've seen plenty of kite surfers out there when flying my foil, but no buggies. I'm considering a buggy but want to make sure there are no area restrictions on buggies. Thanks

For what it's worth, I've contacted the Jekyll Island Authority and they were most hospitable. They have no objections to buggying and in fact the fellow I spoke with would not mind trying it. There only care is that buggie drivers should be mindful of others and to stay otf the dunes.

Now that it's after labor day the beach should be close to empty - esp. on weekdays. 20 miles of wide open beach if anyone in the Southeast GA, Northeast FL. region wants to come out and play...

My Kite Trike arrives in a few days..
