Hey guys its time to let another one go that rarely sees any fly time. I have a minty first gen Apex 5m. The kite is in excellent condition along with the lines, bar and bag. No stains, no repairs, Ive only flew this a few times, bought it here and would like to sell if here. This is my "help me get to obx kite" I need some funds to enjoy a couple days at my most favorite relaxcation spot hoping to get the Neos wet :P Pics will be posted later today after I get home. Lets set the record straight:

1) After I purchased the kite you asked me to sell you the kite:
You: "I've got a full slew of beamers if you want trade or cash. I really want that red apex..."
You: "If you don't want 5m kite, I need it big time."

My reply: " I've been waiting for a kite deal like this for a while.
If for some reason I change my mind, I'll let you know.
Hope you find yours soon."


2) you continued to ask me to sell you the kite:
You: "Are u ready to sell me your new kite"

My reply: " I doubt I'll sell the kite. I haven't even flown it yet! If I were to sell the kite it would be at a price that I could fill the gap with similar depower kite. At this point I would be tempted at $450. Still interested?"


3) when you complained of me trying to make a profit, I replied with the following:
My reply: "I'm not trying to screw you... I'm not trying to sell it.
I was just telling you what price would make me part with it." ... "I'm sorry you took offense at my response."

So again k kites, I'm sorry it came across all wrong. I am not interested in selling it at this time and I'm certainly not trying to profiteer by flipping the kite. I'm very much looking forward to flying this kite.

As for your comments of "unsavory schmuck" and "lame", remember the golden rule (yes, I googled it even though I live by it):
(Positive form of Golden Rule): One should treat others as one would like others to treat oneself.
(Negative form of Golden Rule): One should not treat others in ways that one would not like to be treated.

Whats the saying- everything is for sale at the right price and it seems to me that Kiteelemental has determiined that it was worth $450.00 to him- irrelevant of what he paid for it- i dont see a problem at all. I have regularly bought things at one price and sold it for more, yes even some kites:o:o:o, that said I think the guys on this forum i have sold kites to certainly felt they got a good deal (i think they did). Outside of kites i will give you another real life example- I bought a distressed piece of property for X dollars and then sold it for 3 times X about a month later- does that make me a schmuck or an intelligent businessman? @kitek- if you wanted the kite for $200 should have talked to pigryder yourself or first- early bird gets the worm
Oh well enough of a rant i just get tired of people #@%$#!in about fairness or thinking that making a profit is somehow wrong if you want something go earn it- do you expect a store to sell you something for what they paid for it?
