Roller vs standard spreader bars

How much of an advantage is having a roller style spreade bar with fixed bridle kites ?

One came with the spare harness i have, and plan to sell. I'm wondering whether I should sell or keep the roller one that came with it...

Roller is nice because your strop can move from side to side easily without excessive wear. The hook style spreader will wear out your strop line fast and can cause it to bind or rub, giving major drag when you want it to slide. If your are flying fixed with a strop, keep the roller. If you are flying bar with a chicken loop, the hook style is what you want.
