I’m really getting along well w/ my 4.9III Blade... took it off the bar and went to handles little more than a month ago. seems like the kite can now breath and is so much more fun, responsive and predictable...I reach for this kite more and more.... Have yet to have a time where I regretted taking it instead of another out ...... is the AAA kit something that will boost performance or just allow for a change of character, i'm not looking to mellow it out.....flying it static and ATB. and is the kit for a III or 4's and newer???

If you want more low end grunt,put it on the knot closest to you. If you want more speed and less grunt,use the knots closest to the kite. I don't have a Blade, but I did buy and install the AAA kit from flexi on my Rages. I found them useful for changing the character of the kite.:bigok: Hope this helps. Someone w/ a Blade will chime in ,I'm sure.

I think III and IV are OK but my 9m Blade II cascades wrong and it is not as simple as an AOA kit.

You need to be able to group your A, B and C rows seperately.

Only one spot makes sense. The problem with my 9m BII is that A.B.C. are brought together in 3 groups per side then cascade down with 3 lines to the common attachment point for lines. I think they did this to reduce the amount of bridle?

As long as your whole side A.B.C. all come to one common point with a short leader you are O.K.

A am almost positive this is how BIII and IV are bridled. Maybe even BII in smaller sizes???
