Driving through town today I got a cool shot of a local gas station sign with a zero dollar price for gas so I took a picture. This brought me to think that through everyday life and with the advent of the cell camera, we must have some fun and interesting pictures to share. So her I thought to try a thread where we could share some pictures that we found amusing in one way or another. I doesn't necessarily have to be your own, but maybe something found on the web. Here's my first contribution.

I have always liked the special boxes reserved for AirMail.



This is a pic plucked from the internet, but I remember seeing one very much like it when I was driving through the New Mexico/Big Bend area.

Funny thing I had read in a magazine article once when I was like grade 7/8 age that there was airmail boxes like that used in certain remote areas that helicopters would come close and put the mail in these boxes way way up there. Not sure if it was a funny or serious thing though.



Edit:I think I was just really gullible because anywhere I look it just comes up as it being a joke.

I pass this place on the way to one of my fields... It's about 5 min from work. Little piece of local humor
