When I talked to Fiona last night she was saying it was wild winds out there. I'll ask her today if she had the foam out front on her beach - he's
just south of the area in the news item.
That reminded me of the foam surfing video that came up earlier this year from similar conditions in Australia.
and for Scottish accents - a joke I received today:
Scottish Wedding - (Scottish accent essential!)
Two Glaswegians, Archie and Jimmy, are sitting in the pub discussing Jimmy's forthcoming wedding.
"Och, it's all goin' pure brilliant," says Jimmy. "Ay've got everythin' organised ulriddy, the fluers, the Kirk, the mootor caurs, the recuption, the
rings, the minister, even ma stag night".
Archie nods approvingly.
"Ay've even bought a kilt to be married in!" continues Jimmy.
"A kilt?" exclaims Archie, "That's magic, you'll look pure smart in that. What's the tartan?"
"Och," says Jimmy, "Ah'd imagine she'll be in white..

The X3 is like being attached to a pack of starving huskies that just caught a wiff of seal stakes on the bbq...
I use them for jumping on the snowboard mostly but in winds well under their kitesurf wind range. They are old school C kites - 2003 i think, I just
bought them out of curiosity really. They don't depower very well and gusts loft you evry time! There is no way i would fly even a 6m in 35 knot
gusts!
If I was any good i'm sure they would be awesome!!!

That was a bit of a wild day for my limited skill level. Had a great session at Luskentyre on Saturday though. slightly underpowered for a change
which was better for learning. starting to get the hang of it i think.
I managed to find a 2nd hand 7.5m Naish Cult for sale yesterday so that should do me for all those 30 knot days.
