apex III 5M
My apex 5m stalls anytime i pull in the bar. It seems to me that the center lines are too long. I have shortened using the adjustment knots and it
is better but seems like not enough... is it possible the center lines stretched? Is there any easy fix? Maybe add short extensions on brake lines?
Thanks, ed

Start with pigtail extensions on the brake lines or if possible, tie a knot further down the leader line on the power leaders.
What winds is this occuring in and how do you have the trimmer set. If you pull it in all the way you shorten the power leaders a bit. How does it
fly fully trimmed on the strap (not bar)?

Apex III 5 not a low wind kite
I have found that the Apex III 5 is not a low wind kite. The kite will stall unless you have some strength to the wind. On the other hand, the kite is
a delight when the winds get stronger. In the kite specs. you will notice HQ has a higher min. wind for the 5 than the 7.5 or 10.

Has it always behaved this way? Did you buy it used ? What winds are you trying to fly it in ?
Counter to what seems logical Static flying in too low winds requires you to fly the kite fully depowered . Strap tight. Fly hard on the front and
introduce the back just for turning.
I have a suspicion everything is O.K. but you haven;t been flying it in strong winds as it is designed ?
Yes front lines can stretch but .... ?

apex 5m
Thanks everyone for the replys. I tend to fly underpowered and sounds like I need to just wait for some higher wind days.

Ditto Bladerunner , in light winds the kite needs to fly fairly flat , it won't tolerate being at much of an angle to the wind.
