Winter Time!! Gear UP??
Looking at getting some decent over-pants for board-riding and looking for input.
First, I'm a beach rider (no snow kiting...yet)..OR/WA beaches.
45-55 temps...but WET...
My options?? Snowboard Pants, or typical Rain Pants...
I'd like something that has good flex and ability to knee-pad either over or under.
Anyone have personal experience with different pants to keep ya dry when playing in less-than-ideal contidions??
Thanks!
Steve

I have ski pants, fleecy lined thing, but when skiing/snowboarding, I overhear and just sweat like a horse, unless it's frickin' snowing. I literally
just use a long-sleeve t-shirt and my old Columbia outer-shell from 1995, the Columbia pants and that's it. Of course gloves but no hat - too hot!
Before the last season, I Nikwaxed the pants and they're totally waterproof now - gone are the days of soggy bottoms!
Yeah... I got a kite. Or two...

you will get cold in the rain pants, and the last thing you want while being in the snow is having your legs cold

I also use snowboard pants when its cold. They keep out water and keep you warm. They always have enough room for knee pads. They've kept me warm in
the snow as well. A good Balaclava will help in the winter winds as well
