New camera futures that I want to see in next GoPro

I love my gopros ... but when you watch commercials for other cameras there is whole bunch of futures that I would love to see in my next camera .....
Here is one of examples that make sense on action cameras when sometimes we recorded countless hours of useless footage because we waiting for something to happen .... then it takes forever to transfer ... then good luck finding that moment .....
Thats why I love this idea :

lol ... I think you are missing something .... and no .... I dont want ear mount for my gopro .... watch video again and look for "New camera futures that I want to see in next GoPro"

It would be awesome if Gopro records footage continuously ... then when you see some action ... press save button and lets say last 2-3 minutes is saved to the card to stay ... or something like press once saves last 1 min.... press twice saves last 10 min ....

Means you'd either be constantly fiddling with the camera or fumbling with something in your hand. I'd rather just ride and worry about it later... but that's just me ;)

HighlightHunter does wonders with finding your hightlights in hours of video. The hardest part is remembering that you are recording and covering the lens to mark the hightlight. The camera does need to be within reach too.

Kam, cut off the end of a pantyliner and stick it in the case. No more fogging.

Kami, if it has a slider at the top, or even button you are going to want to put it on a waterproof case anyway.
The sand gets everywhere and is no good.

Contour cases also come with the dehumidifying strips.

I think we're talking about "features" here. I think the continuous loop idea would be an issue with the gopro due to battery life. My hero 2 runs out of battery before storage.

Plus there is a chance of "looping" over something you want to keep.

I think the point is that the Looxcie does have some features that would be cool integrated into the Gopro (i.e. the real time streaming, etc) some promised by Gopro but to date not available, but for one the Looxcie is only 480p max and has more limited mounting possibilities, it certainly would not be good at the beach or for watersports as I see it . Oops there it goes into the drink, gone $329, did I mention that it wasn't cheap, but in its favor they seem to have gotten the apps down, Gopro should perhaps look to their lead for the future.

I like the ability of the continuous loop idea, I have something similar in my truck on the dash, Never know when you need to film that moment or problem that just cut you off on the freeway.:flaming:

Careful which brands you are using. Some liners used water absobtion beads (the kind used in gardening). They are not particularly fun to clean up after they plump up a bit.

Believe you can get desiccant material in sheets, cut into strips and be well stocked for a long time to come.

The GoPro ap was released yesterday but have not had a chance to play with it yet. A ton of footage to scan through yes but very rewarding with the end product.

Sheets, chamoix, aircon blasting... never works 100%. We'll see how the sand goes :)

And I mean it for line mount - doesn't often get wet these days...
