Viper brake line check please
http://www.youtube.com/embed/aisrhCDFxG0"
Still getting to know my new Vipers- I know they like brake line input but I think mine are too tight- look at my cheezy boring video and if you fly a
Viper let me know. Winds were too light for this size but was too far back to the car for the 6.8!!
It is also not behaving in the parked position- wind keeps "getting under" it and trying to take off.

Back off the brake lines. You need enough to back the kite down to land and in a spot that feels good to you when you want to turn or pull the kite
back from the edge...
In gusty conditions I fly with a bit more brake to stop my kites from snapping shut. Shouldn't be a problem with a Viper
Lots of kites do not sit properly parked... None of mine do. Sand Bags supplied by K2 work great!

They look a little tight but hard to tell. I like my brake lines a little on the tight side so just some pressure on the pinkies give me some
response, may not be proper but that's how I like it. I would just play with the adjustment until it is performing the way you like. not sure if it
will help but here is a clip of me with the 6.8 Viper s before I started hooking in. http://youtu.be/nIU68tzdlZs *edit link fixed*

I use two stakes so not to get too much brake when parked or if your on the beach just toss a little sand on the trailing edge to keep the wind from
getting under it.

My 5m PL Core has a tendency not to behave when parked. I have read that that can be a symptom of too much brake line tightness, in the same light, I
heard if its dancing on the ground when it's parked, just give it a little top line pull and it will start to behave... But I'm on the same page as
MDK... I kinda prefer tighter brakes
I'm going to take a nap now

Maybe a tad. Play around with it. The easiest thing is to tie a knot in each of your handles on the power line about an inch back from the existing
knot. Move the lines there, see what you go. Adjust accordingly. this shortens the power effectively lengthening the brake.
