How are PL Scorpions with a buggy?
Wondering if a Scorpion is too lifty for a buggy.
Also, the ARC calculator shows a 16 Scorp as having slightly better low end than a 16 Venom. Anyone have an opinion?
I love Nahant but rarely get there anymore.
Skis, skates, coyotes, buggy, Beamer 1.8, Apex 3III,'Flow 3 & 5, Peak1 6 & 9, Venom1 10 & 12. Wings Wings Wings.

I've used my 16 Scorpion and 10m Scorpion in a buggy quite a bit - My 10m Scorpion has had me many times in the 55-60mph range on the dry lake.
Overall stable but the smaller sizes in high wind do surge a little forward and back at the high end of their range but still easily controllable with
one hand tracking straight. Some Scorpions can be prone to poor/sluggish launch but not all of them and for me, once they got some hours on them and
stretched, they were good. I still have my 10m that I often take it as my playa kite (once it got a little dusty).

Worked great for me. I only sold my 16m Scorpion to get a 15m Phantom 2.
If your kite seems too lifty for your buggy you should avoid flying it overhead in high winds. Problem solved. :-)

Great buggy engine for me anyway. You can fly the 16 in a huge wind range once your comfortable with the kite imho. Not sure what to think about the
lofty idea. I can't remember an OOB where I was lofted out of the buggy, as opposed to just be overpowered and yanked out the side ;-)
Currently enjoying a Charger 2 quiver

Scorpion is a beautiful under appreciated kite all around IMO. I wish they would revisit that kite, but its probably the least talked about arc out
there. True sheet and go power with lots of wind range.
