Airline travel

Those of you that have taken your Libre buggies on planes for travel, what do you put them in? I've got a full-race, and I'm trying to figure out if I drive or fly with it in October.

Thanks.

I use a big duffel bag that I got from Academy. It costs about $20, but it's a tight fit. I put the entire buggy in it minus the axle. Most of the airlines will charge you extra to check it in though, because of the weight. They are getting strict on weight limits these days.

As far as the rear Axle, I check that in separately on the plane. I have a soft fishing rod bag that I got from Academy too. It fits great and it's padded.

If you are travelling domestically, check out FedEx ground. You can get a price from the internet. Some hotels will hold it for you as long as you get a shipping address, let them know it's coming and get pick up instructions.
