Klimax Redline Snoblades

As some others have been doing, I also cleaned out the closet and found these.

Brand new, never used, worn once in the house on carpet. The snoblades are not very good on carpet but I can guaranty snow will make all the difference.
72cm long, 28 inches.
fits size 5 to 11 1/2
both have safety straps
new they cost 320.00
These are the last model that Klimax made, as that is what they told me when I ordered them.

Not sure what to ask for them, was thinking $55.00 with FREE shipping to the lower 48. Anywhere else in the world is possible with the buyer paying shipping. I would even entertain a really good offer.:smug:

OK the price was a bit high, $55.00 and free shipping unless you live to far away.

Snowblades are a really nice option on the snow, especially if you are just getting started. The short length improves mobility as you learn starts and begin to coordinate jibes.

This model doesn't have bindings that release, but for all practical purposes you don't really need them as much with such short ski length. Because they are short, the forces in a fall are pretty limited. You can get snowblades with standard bindings but they are at a very different price point.

BTW, $55 with free shipping is a steal IMO.

U2U sent. They are just what I need to get started snowkiting. My mom even suggested I get some short skis for snowkiting. I would snach these up in a heartbeat but I have to ask my parents first.

Perfect for you. You are young... your joints can deal with the no-release part of these better than old dudes like me.

Like I said I use 90cm with the same bindings. I have taken many wicked falls on several mountains and have never lost one or be injured by them not releasing. Also great for learning to kite ski. Just mark left and right!! Hard to steer if on the wrong feet and easy to mix them up.

Ditto - I worried about twisted knees but it's never happened... I should upload some video

Biggest problem I had with the short skis was reminding myself they weren't rollerblades... and not trying to do step-turns :o

Yeah... I got a kite. Or two...

Left/right? I have a pair of twin tip ski blades does the symmetrical properties of twin tip make them good for either foot at any time?
