are board parts interchangeable

i have recently decided to get a board to go with my 4m ozone octane, i have a just bought a radsail r3 with the assumption that parts are interchangeable, but now i realise i should have checked before buying, the board itself has an average 4/5 star review on websites i have checked, however one problem people keep saying when the low reviews occure, is either the trucks arent that grwat, or the wheels are loosing pressure, if this is the case am i ok to just go and buy a better brand of trucks and wheels?

if the trucks from another brand dont fit you just drill hiles for the new trucks. it shouldnt hurt the deck any

Check your cheaper options first.

If the tires are losing air pressure, checks for leaks in the inner tubes or valve stems. If you have faulty or loose valve stems that could be a zero-cost or extremely cheap fix.

Before shelling out for new trucks, you might consider just replacing the springs and elastomers. Radsails might just use lower spec ones and that might make all the difference in the world. Again.... a much cheaper fix, if the trucks and hangers themselves are fine... even if they aren't made of unobtanium.

ATB,
Sam

unobtanium becomes stronger as more pressure and heat is applied. It also sonverts heat into electricity. So unless you are drilling to the center of the earth with the board, you dont need unobtanium. :spin:

Its one of my favorite movies. I love the reference.

i do not have any problems as of yet, its just after reading some reviews/comments i through i would ask the question while i remembered, that way if i do ever need to replace anything, i do not need to find brand specific parts, just go for the best of my budget

I am VERY familiar with this Radsail board and the company who makes it(Eolo).

I'm afraid you'll have to buy a new board. The board is junk!!!

First, you get the board out the box and the tyres smell disgusting and then you notice - HEY THOSE TYRES or inner tubes DON'T FIT THE WHEEL - MASSIVE BUCKLING.

You ride the board for the first time and find all 4 tyres pop on the first outing.

The foot straps rip apart on about the 4th outing.

To get this board working, you'll need to buy new tyres and new foot straps.

Hey op, did you use the Eolo tool? I've had two of them and they both snapped like chocolate.

I tried to like this company(Eolo) but having bought this rubbish board and having an utter bridle failure on an evo2 kite, I keep well away.

Eolo refused to refund any money for the kite I purchased direct from them.

Eolo said they would only repair the kite so I sent it to them at my expense.

Eolo did not repair the snapped bridles and ripped out tabs.
Instead they removed more bridle rendering the kite absolutely unusable.

All this from the first ever red hat release in an onshore 10mph wind(weather station). The kite ripped apart.

These guys make toys which is a shame because it's a company I could really like.

The deck is great though, I really like it.
I think you should return this whole board for a refund. Don't get fobbed off with having them send you another board.

NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE!

If you bought this from Powerkiteshop, tell them you know for a fact they know exactly what they sold you because I told them and they didn't appreciate the problems at all and didn't offer me any 10% off code so I could buy new tyres for the board they gave me as a warranty exchange.

Infact, do a charge back on your card if you can, don't waste time with this stuff.

If you bought it for £99 off ebay recently, keep the deck and possibly trucks.

Real gear this is right. Everyone sells it for around £290 and a company has to sell them on ebay for £99 or best offer(brand new).
