Geez this buggy would cost another $400 if you could even get it in the states. Not sure of anyone even carrying them. This is a more sturdy, and
advanced buggy than the original Flexi. It feels like it was carved out of a block of stainless. When I sit down in it (240 lbs) the only thing that
flexes is the tires. It can break down really small with only 2 bolts as well.

Can this buggy accept the Nanco or Bigfoot tires without requiring a different front fork?
If so, I'll take it.
If not, I still might take it, but I'd have to think about it.
I'll try to send a PM or email as well.

No, it won't accept any bigfoot tire in the front fork. You could change the fork and downtube to Peter Lynn bigfoot parts though and you'd be
rolling. A wide axle would be nice if you did that.

I have a flexifoil buggy and love it....I can say they are extremely well built (almost bomb proof unless you are freestyle and even then ??). They
are probably one of the most versatile buggies out there. You can run two different axles, different wheels, forks, & downtubes. They are SS so
paint and rust is not even an issue. Parts from other buggies will fit them too.
The ease of taking it apart and its weight make it nice to just throw in a car for transporting...
You can ask all the questions you want but in the end it all comes down to your own wants/needs....where you live, type of riding you will be doing
etc. All I can say is what I mentioned above....well built, versatile, etc.
The deal for this one is awesome and you won't find a better price anywhere....Plus this version (unlike scout) is better and improved then the older
style...Seat is now more adjustable and straps can go around the siderails..meaning you can get some nice custom or aftermarket siderail pads on it.

OK. sold. I'll take it.
I don't know if the owner is monitoring this forum, but if he is, would he please contact me via my direct email, (rcowgill@cfl.rr.com) and NOT the
U2U thing.
We need to arrange payment and shipping details.
I can't find his email, so I'll try the U2U route.

and myself have all owned flexis (& loved) or still do and can help you with any questions you have. Nice to see this worked out for you and
Donald...who by the way sold me my original wide axle for mine and it made a huge difference...in both the ride and the way I fly today...It was a
huge turning point for me.
Hopefully we will all meet at some event....JIBE and WBB are coming up...maybe we will see you there.

Definitely see you at JIBE. We're already booked into the campground fromTuesday through Saturday night.
Let's see: what's first? Bigfoot front end and tires, Van's seat, wide axle,.....
I have no illusions here. This $570 buggy will blow through $1500 faster than a AA Fuel dragster unless I trade it off for something different at
JIBE.
I already emailed Popeye to ask about a Bigfoot front end. (Terminator says: "BIG mistake!").
I bought the Rev PB 4-8 (be VERY afraid!) yesterday. It is still safely in the bag!
Just for grins, I was thinking what I would use for an engine if my Rev 2-4 was too much, so I hauled out my Prism Stylus to see what size it was.
It's a 2.8, and I flew it for the first time in a couple of years. Really flies pretty nice, so I guess that will be my go to kite when things get
huffy.
I also flew my little (somewhere between 3 and 4 meters...couldn't find a number on it) Sky Tiger last night. Doesn't handle as smartly as the
Prism,but another possibility.
Does Van make his seat rails in stainless yet? They will be a must do for me due to my lower back issue.
Oh, yeah, I'll need a harness as well as soon as I can get confident enough in my Rev chops to risk strapping myself to that launch vehicle!

Try it all first before you buy anything....I have had my buggy for 6 years now before making any upgrades....There is a Samurai 3.0 on here with a
harness for 200.00...Nice little kite and considering a harness alone used is about 75.00 to 100.00 this might not be a bad purchase. Would most
likely become your go-to kite.....
E-bay...type in kite buggy in search engine...you will see a man posting what appear to be flexi buggies..Somehow he is one of the original builders
or something like that anyway...Trikebuggy is his company and he sells the wide axle for this buggy. Van could also make anything your brain can think
of for upgrades so...if you are wanting/getting multiple things...fork, wide axle etc he will treat you right. (contact him directly)
I won't lie....You are correct in your statement of blowing through some cash to make upgrades...You may very well be able to trade or sell this buggy
for one at JIBE but give it a try first. Angus is the man/business hosting this event..He has wealth of knowledge on this bug so...I won't be there
but Flyguy0101 will be..and he owns two..He also made a landyacht out of one (windsurfer sail) very cool.
Have a blast and we are all here for you to ask questions and learn from.

I talked to Van about the upgrades on this Flexi.
Besides not being available in stainless ( kind of a must here on the Florida coast), he pointed out that I was basically building a completely
different buggy, which is not cost effective.
Common advice (which I will heed) is to get some time on this one to get a feel for what I do and do not like. When I get to JIBE and have a chance to
try some other buggies, I'll have a base line for comparison.
It may well come down to needing two different buggies: this one for fooling around inland and in small areas and one of those fat tire low and long
rigs for higher speed beach blasting. That is, if I don't totally go the Blokart route, which I am still trying to investigate.
Here's a question: since it appears from the Flexi Vimeo on this buggy that it will accept the 6" wide flat profile tires, I'll ask: do you gain
enough in soft surface capability over the standard barrow tires to justify the cost?

Yeah .. Bob caught the "power kiting bug" before he even got his buggy .. haha. I like it when people throw money at me but I had to turn Bob down
since he practically asked me replace the entire buggy including wheels My suggestion is go to JIBE and try out all the different buggies with bigfoot , small foot , skinny foot , ugly foot .. try
them all. Then decide what you really want. And if you still want that shiny stainless steel custom buggy, we can talk .. haha. I do make stainless
steel parts, they just aren't cheap. :wink2:

Not cheap and from what I understand from Chad, not so easy to weld and polish...They do however look like a nice chromed Harley Davidson just sitting
there in the sun and sand...except they need wind to go, instead of gas...
Great advise on just trying it all out first before you buy....I still think he got a super deal on a SS flexi and if he really wanted to get rid of
it, JIBE would be the place. It's a lot easier to do in person with a bunch of kite people around, then trying with a picture on the forum and dealing
with shipping.
