Colorado kite locations

Hi all Colorado snowkiters,

Looking for a good location to ride this weekend. I know dillon is all rocks and ice. Any other spot that is should look into.

Thanks for the help

Nuthin but bare ice all over Colorado and it looks like the trend till spring, long straight skis with sharp edges and high speeds is about the only option I see.

The Rocky Mountain Kite Association (147 member strong) is going to Dove Valley near Centenial Airport.

We have every type of kite flier out each week.

We fly kites every single Sunday no matter the weather.

You will not find a better or more dedicated group of people.

Need more info?

Seeya sunday at Dove, hoping it blows....

I'll be spending yet another saturday in the parking lot at the sanitarium, board already requires a Ptex fix from resort days, might as well try to get some snowkite in!

worst case scenario I'll make yet another timelapse video of nothing. ;)

Tide? What's a tide? Man, it's 1000 miles to any ocean.

Thanks for the info. I will be going up to Dillion on Friday. Then see where the winds lead me.
