No wind option - Metroboard Electric Skateboard

Santa left us a Metroboard electric skateboard under the tree this past year.

What a blast

Tops out at ~19mph, weighs under 20 lbs and goes around 15 miles before it needs a charge.

We started with the Gravity Mini, but I switched it over to an old school Mike McGill re-issue deck for a bit more room.

Wireless remote, goes up moderate hills with ease, coasts under no power, has brakes and blinking LEDs under the board for night rides.

It's a great "No Wind" way to cruise - Highly recommended!

I have been looking at these for a while now, they have to be a blast. You could ride it to work, charge it for the ride home, OH the possibilities. I would guess that a 220lbs rider would lower the top speed and shorten the distance.
I remember the metal wheels back before electricity was invented and those boards were nothing more than a way to loose all your teeth from the vibrations of the hard steel tires.

I really want one of these boards with the off road tires, then after I get a few miles away from the truck and the wind dies, I can kiteboard on the beach back to the truck dragging my kite. In stead of the walk of shame back to the truck, I think I will call it, the ride of fame.
