I love the Core,... I have the 4m and 5.1m,... I wish I had the $$ to grab that 3m,... ESP for that price!!! And I loooove that color scheme too.

I'm curious why do you think the core is the wrong kite compared to a Hornet or Beamer?

I'm confused. I Own a 3m hornet. I would say the core is a better kite than the hornet. What are you hopeing to do with it? I found the hornet to not be as good upwind vs the core with the same power. I bought a 2.6 vipers to replace my hornet an plan on selling mine soon. Soliver had a Beamer and got rid of it for similar issues. The core is a way better kite.

I agree with both of you guys. The Core is a superior kite. However, this is my 3m trainer that I use to put in the hands of new people, friends and younger folks. So what I really need (and should've known I need) is a slower kite that's a little more front-lined biased and a little more erm... how should I say this... slower to respond, but easier to predict.

The core is really frustrating for people who haven't flown 4 lines before because they don't realize they're putting the brake pressure on at all (or putting on too little). So the purpose of this kite is something they can still fly and enjoy while learning how to use brakes properly. I flew a Hornet yesterday, and that is the kite I should have bought for this purpose. Oops.

So is your Hornet new? Wanna trade?

I have a HQ Beamer 3 III pristine condition. Bright Yellow and crispy. has about 4 hours fly time on it..

I thought the 3m Beamer III was red and the 4m was yellow. Did they have more than 1 color scheme? Also, I LOVE that kite, but looking for a Mk5 in a Beamer. If someone buys the core with cash, I'm just turning around and buying a hornet 2 or a Beamer V. Thank you, though. A Beamer III 3m in yellow would be pretty awesome.

Hrm.... lemme think about that for a bit, Kazedoka. I'd prefer a Beamer V or a Hornet II, but I may be willing to trade KO for a sparkly new(ish) Beamer IV. Give me a couple of days to see what else is out there, will ya?
