Wait for it...

I'm exckited!

Hope the mountains get walloped. When it's February and base of Mt Washington(at Pinkham) has only 3 inches..:no:..it's been bad snow wise. A Back Country ski trip would be nice somewhere in Whites.

Kite skating to become kite skiing on lakes......

Anniversary of Blizzard of '78 now.

Fly during the storm ! :yes:

:roll::roll::roll::roll::roll:

Just keep flipping foil over in the air and shaking snow out ...or use a single skin type kite.

But you may not even see your kite in whiteout! Fly by feel.

Flying yesterday with snow coming down, a gust messed me up and I flipped over as it lit back up. Upsidedown and plowing snow with my face, I finaly got the tophat released , when I got every thing reset I found about 5# of snow in one end cell of the kite none in the other. There after during some bad turbulences the kite would rattle and shake out big blasts of snow , it was quite a sight. Managed to stay sunny side up the rest of the morning dodging dustdevils (snowdevils ?)

Glad you're okay Spider. :wee:

The glass here was fun while it lasted but looking forward to putting the fast skis away and bringing out the fatties.

I flew in the storm already!

:wee::wee:

...well it's not that bad yet..but still part of the whole storm.
And it wasn't kite skiing..it was kite skating:rolleyes:

Good wind!

Rode 6 blocks from my apartment on lake on skates. After that will be kiteskiing on same area:yes:.

Just wish whole lake was frozen. limited. More real estate will be nice.

Tomorrow I will ski down my front steps and kick and glide 'till I reach the lake and 'free' winds. Gonna need a tiny kite!

..Well... maybe.... if not a ridiculous white out and 50-60 mph winds......:puzzled:

Uh -ohhh:o..rain coming Monday? Get it quick..

I posted two little videos on youtube , one showing the snow and one showing the howling wind. Yea that was Wednesday 36.9 thru misc. packed and drifting powder , fully depowered, I tried pulling in the bar a few times but I could barely stay in the seat. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7uLnXUoUL-0 and http://www.youtube.com/watch?NR=1&v=bDPal-rbZxA&feat...
