Eat a very lite breakfast before you go, and add a bit more air in the tires for added assurance.
You may want a pair of water wings just in case.
This could be a new sport, think of the possibilities........:wee:

I wish I was that young and skinny. I was the chubby dude behind the camera.

That was the last I ever saw of him. He was seen in the shipping lane about 8 miles off the coast but they were unable to get to him.

About six months after that I remember reading an extract online from an article in an Argentinian news paper the Buenos Aires Herald that fisherman spotted a young bearded guy in a floating trike in stormy weather rounding Cape Horn before they lost sight of him again.

If he turns up on the west coast, do let me know.

It's not a matter of "...can you..." it's a matter of Do you want to replace the bearings before you go out the next time?

And any speed too. A kite buggy has to be the least streamlined water craft ever.

You're right to be doubtful as steering is almost non-existent and the front wheel dives under if you lay down too much power.

Turning around 180 can only be done with the kite and body twist which can very easily end up with an OBE if you're too eager.

Just for laughs I'll try and do a video this weekend in the surf and waves. :D

I'd love to see other peoples attempts at this too. I'd like to see a buggy float off challenge. So please post up!

The only footage I have so far is at the very end of this video.
It's a 15 minute long, unedited, as it happens video, so please skip to 14:30. ;-)

My friend buggied out to this ship wreck last year but got his lines caught up in the rusting hull.
