Things are starting to look BUGGY!
A random thought concerning number plates... Some of us have favorite numbers. Is there a way to keep your number each year? New laminated plate with the current date and all, but the established number. Perhaps keep a record and have a cut-off date for non-returnees (are there any?)
If it is to be like a raffle, there should be a "post-mark date" before which no entries are allowed, and when the race for "69" begins.
Besides, the new "hot" number is 77.
It's just as hot as 69, but you get 8 more.

What thinks the vox populi?

Plate Number Requests

I would shoot Claxton an email from the registration page. He's in charge of the numbers.

Number Plates

I have had several request for Number plates. Some Buggiers have had the same number for multiple SBBB events in the pass. I will try my best to honor the request of buggiers asking for a specific number. Drop me and email for those who want a special number. As i receive the registration form I will assisgn it a number. In the event of TIE for the same
number the earliest post mark date will get the #. I think that only fair.

Hey...
I just checked the "Who's Coming" list on the sbbb site and I want to know who the heck put my name first?

I feel Fran's name should be #1

I just wanted the double zero so the "buckshot" nickname would work.

I don't want to be the first on the list, nor do I deserve to be there.

Can the "proper authorities" please rectify this uncomfortable situation?

humbly,

FLASH: Lama uses historically ignoble adjective!!!

Dateline March 3, 2004, Las Vegas NV

It is reported on this date that the famous (and infamous) Corey-Lama actually used the adjective "humbly" in a communication sent this date.

While the purpose of this usage was considered laudable, the rarity and noteworthiness of this event could not go unreported.

Please mark all calendars and listings for national holidays and sublime universal and cosmic occurences to reflect this banner date in history!

Speculation abounds as to the portent of this incident... will the Lama embark upon a "kinder, gentler" mode of approach, especially in dealings with irascible old codgers who cop his MO? Will future kite enthusiasts enjoy the Lama's ramblings without 8 or 10 old single-liners lunging for the volume switch on the PA? Is this the end of an era, signalling the egression of the infamous Mayor of El Mirage? Was this all just a typographical faux pas?

Enquiring minds don't give a damn.

I guess I mis-spoke a bit.
I wasn't suggesting Fran have a different number.
I meant his name should be on the top of the list.
The first name listed.
Whatever the number.

I was honored to find myself up there.
I just felt it inapropriate.

Bring your number to buggytown.
