SOLD - 19m Peter Lynn Charger RTF in Great Condition - SOLD

All,

I am offering my 19m Peter Lynn Charger. I believe it is a 2011 model. It is in great shape and was only flown twice before I bought it. I have owned it for about three months and have flown it about 30 times. It has only hit the water a few times and has no repairs or damage. The Navigator bar and 23m lines are a little older than the kite but still have much life left. The 3m line extensions are the most worn part of the package.

You may be able to see the zippers in the photo are starting to lose their rubber coating. I doubt this will affect anything. The kite does have a few black marks on it from the charcoal in the sand in Luanda, Angola, but they do not affect the function of the kite.

Overall, everything is very sound and works great.

I am 200 pounds and was able to stay upwind on a 140cm board in about 15 mph. This is not a lightwind kite for a big guy. I think that a smaller guy (175 lbs) could use this kite with a bigger board and cruise happily in 12 mph winds. Even I could have had much more fun if I had used a larger board, but I didn't have one. It could also be a mid wind kite for a big guy (over 200 lbs). I held it down in about 20 mph winds on a 125cm board. I don't have much experience buggying with this kite, but it did work fine for me when I tried. I was able to launch it in about 6 mph winds. You might want to get at least 8 mph winds before trying to buggy.

I want to try out a 15m Flysurfer Psycho 4. I can't have both at once.

I'm asking $800 for this kite.

Please see my pictures here:

Thanks,

Jason

If you aren't flexible on price, like a lot flexible, keep it. Just my two cents.

How would this compare to the Venom2 19m in lower wind range?

Fly's right. The 19m V2 is a better straight forward machine in low winds. But the 19m can make up for it in the right hands.

Just not a park and ride light wind machine. If you're a light weight (sub 160lbs) she does awesome in light winds on snow.

Tnx Fly & Feyd. I'm a hair over 160 and looking for sub 10 kt for the summer.
The obvious would be Flysurfer but not looking to spend a lot if I don't need to. I mostly ATB
on grass.

This kite may be the right one for you. I buggied with it in about 7 knots just fine.

Yes, I apologize. I do not plan to travel to Europe any time soon. I don't travel to Africa anymore. If you can figure something else out, please let me know.

Lot's of folks are scared of a big 19m. I have a synergy 19 which I haven't even unrolled yet due to riding conditions. Your price is very fair now. You just need an interested buyer to come along. You could ebay and grasp a larger audience.
