Custom Vehicle Licence Plates (Kite related)

I was just curious and thought I would post the question.:puzzled:

Does anyone on here have custom vehicle licence plates that match our passion for this fantastic sport?

I have ordered some up for the Jeep “IKITE” and hopefully they arrive in the next couple of weeks.

Cheers

WG, I like it.

Most all the good ones are taken here, with only the hard ones that are so far off you cant figure them out are the only ones left. Hard to pick one that says it all and only use 7 letters. I had a few good ones but the person who OKed the request didnt think it was appropriate, so I ended up with 1 big kid.

The plates on our 3 vehicles are:
KITE PWR
KITE BAG
KITE RV

Kite pwr is the one that started it all and has been on 7 cars over about 25 years. Kite bag went on the first SUV 'cause we needed a bigger "bag" for our kites. It's now on a 2nd (larger) SUV. And Kite RV is now on its 2nd motor home too.

Plate

I was able to give 5 choices for what I wanted, and ended up getting this, my 4th choice. For some reason, the prisoners did not like my first choice; the #@%$#! (WINDHOR) connotation didn't pass the obscenity test?

Out of curiosity, are your plates stamped or laser printed? The regular issued plates are stamped but the vanity(custom) plates are printed. After I got my first set I called them up and asked when I was going to get the real ones, they said they are the real ones. But they look fake, I could do this on my computer. They said "If you did, then you would go to jail, then you can make the real ones". They didnt laugh, but I did. I thought they made a funny, found out they were dead serious.:embarrased: I still think it was funny.

California still stamps their plates the old fashion way. Please don't let them know there is cheaper way to do it or I'm sure we will end up with photocopied cardboard plates!

Thats whats going on here, if they flash as you shine a light on them at an angle, they are the real thing. If you speed away from a bank robbery, not many are able to shine a light on the plate to see if you are stupid enough to use your own car let along your real plate.
