Not kite related, but for Delaware this is a close call

Apparantly I missed the action tonight. A Meteor that was seen from Maine all the way down to NC actually made impact about a half hour south of me. They have crews out looking for it in the suspected landing area. Reports of it being in the sky for 45 seconds before impact. Also people report hearing the sonic boom, hearing it break up, and then the actual impact. So sorry I was not a witnes, I had just walked in the house about 10 minutes too early. This would be even closer to Rian Davis.

Meteor possibly lands near MD/DE line
Edited to say possibly as the crash area has not been confrimed as of yet. I will update when there is anything positive. Kinda cool for those of us that love the stars!

I remember seeing one "football size" in daylight ,years ago. Comming towards us it looked like an airplane with its landing lights on then passing by it was full fireball and continued out of sight (to Canada). Everyone in the car thought it was really close like right over the houses. Turns out it was about 100 miles away.
