Hope you snagged some of the Butterfinger fudge from the fudge shop
Toooooo funny, I got the dark chocolate, the caramel chocolate, and the BUTTERFINGER CHOCOLATE.
3 for 2 deal, then I told him all I had was $15.00 cash and he said no problem and rang it up at $14.21. He pulled a fast one on me, I lost 14 bucks
and gained 3 lbs.

Here I sit in a camp ground outside Pensicola, FL. Thinking about the last week at Jibe. With all the people, weather, sunshine, turtles, Aunt B's
cookies, and buggy time, I was consumed with an issue involving the Appex buggy.
Parking the 8m Century off the side of the Libre for a high speed run from one end of the beach to the other end and back a few times was one of the
many highlites Jibe had to offer. But the Appex thing seemed to rise to the surface each evening as I wanted to post an update.
I need to put this thing to bed so I can share the joy of Jibe with all of you. In a few days with the wonderful touch of my wife's use of the 2x4
over my head, I should get past this.
With all the activity on the beach and in the parking lot, I will have no problem remembering the sights and sounds of each days fun along with the
Appex thing.
I want to put the Appex thing to bed and move on to be able to share the blast of a time at Jibe.

Jeff, Thanks for showing me your auto-release harness at Wildwood. The pictures were nice but getting to see it made everything click. I might be
building something similar.
Also, thanks for helping to fix my Twister. I hope you make it back to Wildwood sometime.
I love Nahant but rarely get there anymore.

I used the apexx extensively on Friday at Wildwood and hope that I did not contribute to the damage. Honestly I was gentle to it and doubt I was the
cause, but please let me know what you think.
Thanks again for the opportunity to use such a wonderful buggy as well as the PKD century; it was my best session of the bash.

Jeff, if you need any help with your Apexx please let me know. I have repaired a couple of them now and can fix it up for you. I also realize your
skills on this but should you need anything, I would be glad to help.
I am back home now with 2 more events before the Tour is over. And I have to post at this point the biggest "WOW" of the whole trip so far.
I now have claustrophobia of small places and skinny roads with high speeds. I have traveled over 8000 miles in the last month and I get back within
100 miles of home and there is not enough room here for me and the air I breath. 70mph is way way to fast for the winding roads here. The lane of
travel on the highway is far to skinny to feel safe let alone handle the lightspeed speed they travel here. I am so out of touch with the tall
evergreen trees that grow over 100' plus that are part of the highway shoulder, we use them in place of guard rails:o
I almost didnt notice the new stop light in front of the post office, and the lane I use to get on the freeway is now used to go the wrong way.
Guess it isnt as bad as making the wrong turn in San Antonio and driving west far enough to miss the nasty storm that we would have driven strait into
Wednesday night. We watched all night long with flashes and thunder we could see and hear.
2 more events and I will post bits from now until I get back.

Book release? How funny. My wife asked me how much of the trip I was going to share, and I had to think for a bit, then she said I had better not
share everything..........so for now it will be just the high points, er ah maybe not all the high points:P
It is a double edged sword, wish I wasnt home yet and glad I am home.
Wildwood is a great place, and the group of buggy riders, board riders and on lookers made it an event to return to as often as possible.
Jibe is also a great place, along with all the people that are out on the beach, the event is also to be repeated as often as possible.
SOBB, in the past and in the future is also a need to do again and again.

Don't forget Grand Isle beach, Elmer's Isle beach, Holly Beach(from Cameron/Holly beach to Johnson bayou area) Louisiana. Ask NPW goddess about what
conditions, wind directions work best for these locations.
As of now there is no buggy event in Louisiana. Would be nice if local buggiers could get together to organise such an event.
I really need to get this all together and post the results of the Tour. Lots of pics and videos and way to much life at the moment to get caught up,
need more up time.:embarrased:
Have you ever wondered who some of the people are that you hear about here on the forum? Who are these names? Wouldn't you like to put a face to the
strange forum names?
Well I had to do something to remember the fine folks I met along the trip, not being one for remembering names I came up with this idea.

Sorry Mark, you and the lovely Fiona were a few that didnt make the video. I have a few others that I know I talked to and they are still missing in
the file of numbers and dates. I have yet to even look at some of the pictures and videos I took.
If you were at Wildwood and you are not on the video, I am so sorry. I was overwhelmed by the warm welcome and
the number of new faces. With all the stuff I normally deal with and then add hundreds of new faces and each one has 2 names to a person who has
forgot more than I can remember, I will have to say I did OK with the overload of names, faces, places, rules, and way to many miles. I forgot were I
was going with this............oh, I will have to get your face and name recorded next time I'm at WW.
more to come as I get it figured out.

Jeff that was a awesome idea. Thanks for that. So many names I've shared the forum with for years and have never met. You do one for JIBE too? I
would be familiar with more of those. I was surprised I new as many of the WW crew as I did, but many of them I've met at NABX and not on the east
coast. Can't wait to attend WWBB someday.

@ Bobby, No I didnt get one for Jibe, I was preoccupied with crap and forgot to do it. Funny how quite a few were at Wildwood and Jibe. Mad it a lot
easier to remember faces and names.
I was going to write everyone's name down so I could remember it but I left my color crayons at home so I couldn't draw their picture with the name.
Seemed the video camera was the next best thing.
Looking through more of the pics and vids, I must have missed 1/2 of the people at WW. Guess I will have to go back so I can get the rest of the crews
names and pictures.
