Breakdown facilitates first tandem experience
A buggy breakdown provided me with a reason to experience a tandem buggy ride. I had given tandem riding some interest but never went forward with it
until --- necessity is the mother of invention. When a down tube failed it was either walk a few miles or go tandem with the parts. The tandem made
from my broken buggy with a friends buggy worked well and was an enjoyable ride.
