buggy wheels
I own an old version of the peterlynn buggy built for flexifoil - I think it is called "sport". I bought it off this forum from garydog about 2.5
years ago. Dylanj423 has/had the same one. It looks like it uses the standard wheels that come with PL buggies. Will regular wheel barrow wheels
fit the axel? I was at Atwoods (home/farm store chain in Oklahoma) and they had wheels with rims that look about the same for $13.99 except the rim
was metal. They also had some nice looking tires with different tread patterns.

No.
Most barrows wheels are not made the same way... The tire will fit though. Make sure you get the 4 ply rated tires.

I'm not 100% postive but pretty darn sure.....The PL and Flexifoil both ran metric bolt patterns...Flexifoil is 12mm and I believe the PL was the same
or like 15mm so.....most of the arbor(s) on american type products like that are 5/8
You are much better off just getting the plastic rims...OEM, plus no rust and paint chipping off. The wheels are like 19.99 each so savings isn't
really an issue from the 13.99 you stated. The tires you can make work from various manufactures. (barrows, midis and bigfoots will all fit the 4 inch
rim)
You may want to just post in the "wanted" section here for some rims and tires..that could save you some $$ right there.

The bearings on the metal wheel are not likely for high speed. Buggy wheel rims have sealed high speed bearings.

Yes.....maybe.....but.....
I ran some real cheap plastic barrow wheels on my Vmax for 18 months or so with no problems.
However, the bearings were 1" and absolute rubbish....I replaced them with precision bearings and used a sleeve (a bit of electrical conduit) over the
20mm Libre bolt which fit the 1" bearing perfectly.
I think I've seen the metal rims you might mean.... I think they will work but you may well need better bearings, an appropriate sleeve and a new
pair of bolts depending on the width of the wheel.
Then after you've gone to all that trouble you'll probably ask yourself 'why the heck didn't I just buy the right wheels in the first place' !!
