Hunting Island, SC

I was just looking at beach locations that were generally close to the Atlanta area, according to google this is only a 5 1/2 hr drive for me.

Looking at google maps this island has what looks like a HOOJ sandbar on the north end of the island.

Anyone ever buggy or Atb there? Do they restrict riding here? Some of the beaches look like they may be small or tree covered, but not sure.

Anyone have experience here?

I'm going to take a nap now

I've flown static there. The sandbar is heavy in the vertical. Lots of dips and dunes and stuff. The beach itself is sort of narrow and it would have to be a somewhat onshore wind to do anything on wheels. The trees come right down to the beach. Short lines would help if you do have that onshore wind.

Tybee might be even closer and has a huge desolate sandbar you could ride on all day. It wraps around a point so you could work with several different wind directions.
