That looks like a great place to ride! You should get a kiteboard for when it turns into a lake

It is a great place to ride, but much smaller than, and every bit as bumpy as, it looks in a GoPro. The bumps are the bad part; RonH and I were talking about how you feel if you rode 420 miles of GP in 24 hours: like a gang of people had been kicking the carp out of you for 24 hours. We think it might be possible to match 420 miles with the right wind, but you would have to ride continuously for 24 hours. In the best conditions it is hard to get an average speed of better than 30km/h because of all the tacking and gibing and if you get much faster 40km/h you are taking an awful beating.
After a few thousand snow geese have spent the night on the 18" deep lake (or large puddle), it is really unlikely anyone would want to do anything that might put them in contact with that "water". As the lake dries up the smell coming off it is just foul (maybe should that be fowl?). It has to be pretty dry before any of us are willing to check it out.
Is there a distillery on your little island with the huge beach?
