I put below $500.
My flexi buggy came with a job lot, I sold everything else it came with after a while and made my money back, so essentially i got it for free. Since then I've upgraded lots of bits, got the Buggy bags kit, wide axle / wheels etc. All in its probably cost be about bang on $500 (In GBP though obviously.) It would have been more if I had paid for the buggy its self (an extra $250-300).

Both of mine were FREE! But then I bought tires,bling rims,seats,pads. So,maybe $400 ea.

Oops, double post somehow. I wish we could delete these but that causes other problems.

First buggy was $300, second one was $900, third one was over $3000.
At that rate of progression I'm in trouble if I want a fourth.

Thanks for making me do the math, sheesh..... However, Pops treated me very well. I rather not brag about what I paid but I think the bug is probably worth a little more than $3000, of course we will never know cuz it will never be sold

I also chose above $2500. I also feel it's nothing to brag about. I still feel guilty about spending so much on myself but I just had to have it. I don't think I will ever sell mine either.

I couldn't afford to pay for my bug outright, so Popeye said no worries. Pay me whenever. For him it was more important that the Dom4 go to a good home and get plenty of use. He allowed me to pay installments however much I wanted to pay and this wasn't a one-off. Hes done this for others too. Carl is a true gent and a scholar.

I didn't figure in my wheels when I picked so that would put me in the top category too. I wouldn't want any less buggy for what I ask mine to do. Money you enjoy the result of spending is not wasted.

When I figure my time for design, fabrication, testing, re-design, fabrication, re-testing, destroying, repairing, testing, re-designing, fabrication, re-testing and finally giving up out of frustration and lack of sleep to settling on what you saw @ NABX '11, I had about 300 manhours in Chuck-a-walla Rock-it. If you figure my time at $10.00 an hour, I'm so upside down in that thing it's just ridiculous.

Most of the hardware was old race car and golf cart parts I had on-hand and steel was scarp heap cheap. The electric bill for running the welder was stupid for about 2 months.

Wow ...... I think I am saving more money to get my next buggy .... I did think its crazy to pay $3000 for new ride ....
.... I am sure its money well spent ... and hopefully I will travel to Wildwood more often
