My first proper Video :D Buggying at my local spot.

Hey guys,

Although I've had my camera / mount for a while now I've not had the chance to take everything out and get some footage until yesterday.

The editing took me about 4 hours yesterday night. It's nothing too fancy, but as I told a friend, it's the first proper bit of filming / editing I've done, I am self taught / learning as I go along, my computer is slow, and the software I'm using is basic / free.

A lot of the reason I did this was for my own enjoyment, and to show friend and family what it is I constantly go on about, but I do hope you enjoy it too. I would like to continue to make vids, but would probably only bother if I get generally positive feedback.
Talking of feedback please do let me know what you think of the vid, constructive criticism and all that, but bear in mind it is my first one!

It says on youtube that the Vid is blocked in some countries because of the music. Hopefully that doesn't include USA. Let me know if it does, and I'll try and sort it/ upload is elsewhere.

I don't normally get as wet as I do in this video.
Here you go, enjoy. (watch to the end !!)

Or you could also host it on vimeo.com. No hassles about music there...

Okay, that should work now. I had to dispute something about the video, saying "it is a fair use under copyright law". I'm not even sure that's true, so may go back to being unavailable soon..

Thanks guys :)
The main negative I have received is people not liking the amount of movement on kite-cam. I'm trying to think of a mod that will keep the horizon more horizontal, but I haven't got a proper idea yet...

I'm using Kdenlive. It's a free bit of software you can get on Ubuntu (which I use) and I think you can get it on macs too.
