While I was back East at WW and Jibe, I had the chance to talk to a few about NAPKA.
At WW we had a group discussion and a lot of things were talked about and discussed.
For me, I found a few things that are different than at home(west coast), and we need to change some of the wording and how we say things so it
includes everyone. The reason is that as a organization that is North America and working to be world known, we need to incorporate everyone and every
place.
I hope the wonderful people at WW see the need to change a few things also. As I played the negative aspect of the political and unknowledged public,
we were able to understand the position we hold and how a few simple words can destroy years of work. I felt very good after our discussion and I hope
to open up a bit of dialog here from some of those that attended.
As for Jibe, Angus and I had a good talk about it also.
Dont worry, Jibe will not change anytime soon. As Angus is a member of NAPKA, it was more or less a talk about the organization of NAPKA and how
things have changed, and where it is headed.
Again it was a great meeting.
Now to clear up a few things, I am not a board member of NAPKA. I have been and will likely be one again. I am involved with NAPKA and the State of
Washington in regards to re-opening the beaches to wind powered vehicles. I am also heading up the PNWBA (blokart), to help NAPKA and add to the State
of Washingtons work load.
This also includes private land and parks, parking lots, and another open spaces.
There are others that are working at the same things as I am and I am not the one leading the way. I am just a person who wants to do anything to help
those in charge, the same as all of the other members. I am just lucky enough to be able to go places, and do things, many others a not able to do.
With all that has been discussed and shared, talked about, and the concerns, we will add the information to the pot and give it another stir.
I for one am very happy with the way East and West are working together, with Mexico and Canada added to the mix, we are a group that can no longer be
ignored. We have the ability to do great things for everyone in many places.
I want to thank Rich and all the fine people at WW for the great time and the well received discussion. I look forward to more time with them in the
future.
Thank you to all the members, new and old, and those of you yet to join.
