Wind speed website?

Hi guys, I was wondering if you guys know any good website on wind speed forecast for my location? My location is 83843/83855. I tried Weather.com and it wasn't helping much on wind speed. Thanks!

    Try this:
    1. Go To http://www.weather.gov (.gov not .com)
    2. In the upper left hand corner where it says "Local forecast by "City, St" or ZIP code", enter "Potlatch, ID" or one of the two zip codes from the original post.
    3. Click "GO"
    4. On the result page, disregard all the stuff at the top and the "7 Day Forecast."
    5. Scroll down half the page and find the "HOURLY WEATHER GRAPH" on the right hand side of the page.
    6. Click it.
    7. The second row is wind data for the next 48 hour window, including speed and direction.
    8. It's shown graphically, but if you click anywhere on the graph, the information will be displayed as text.
    9. Bit of a pain to get there, but once you do, you can bookmark it.

And, the best part is that, by the default, this are surface wind condition readings..

Hope that helps...

ATB,
Sam

Windalert app on my iPhone or iPad are primarily what I use. You can download it from the Coastal Windsports webpage or its free at the App Store if you search "windalert"

I prefer the app over the actual website, it's much easier to use IMHO

It is also specifically geared towards kites ports as well as sailing and windsurfing.

I just installed windalert app on my Samsung! Now I just have to watch and wait for a stronger wind than 2-5 mph that I flew today.
