Beamer 7.0

I just got a hq beamer 7m and i took it out on the beach. I think the wind was about 20-30 mph. I scudded 100m without trying so I am going out in low winds now. Cant wait to fly it better than before! Is there a way I can stop scudding and just stay still? It was on sand though...

keep the kite about 45deg to one side and don't move it, let it park at the edge of the window. In enough wind it should sit there all day. If you go too far to the side, the kite may either want to drag you or drop from the sky, there's not always as clean wind close to the ground as there is 20 ft up. If you park it overhead and your really powered up you have a chance to get lofted, With it on a 45deg, it really lowers the chances of a lofting while reducing the chance of getting drug off. On a 45deg, worst case you get dragged off a little.

Well I just took it out and I did a few jumps, scudded loads and got it sorted. I found out that the problem was the brake lines were tangled so it wouldnt go to the zenith. I came back soaked and really enjoyed it but on the beach i did a 100m scud, is that good?

If you had fun then it was good.

That's a lot of cloth for high winds. I would not take my 5.5m ProFoil in anything even in the 'teens- too much work! and that's not fun.
