Ok guys so I took a chance on Craigslist and I have a slingshot fuel on the way . The guy said it was a 07 or 08 . But after looking at the pics it looks like a older kite. The bag in the pic looks like a 05 . What do u guys think bout the year ? If it is a older kite I will get rid of it to a more experience rider ..

Bag definite looks like 2005 vintage.

Canopy does too.

Hope for the best, but it will be easier to tell once you get it and can look at the canopy and more importantly the control bar. Bag could have just been swapped from another kite if the original was damaged.

Yea thats what i was think to.. the guy was supper cool so if it turns out to be a 05 then ill have to trade or sell. but I don't think he knew for sure on the year or at least I hope not I have faith in are fellow kiters . And my bad for not catching it b4 I bought ... Lesson learned lol I need to slow down and look at picture b4 I hit the pay pal button :D

@ Jeff the more I look at your comment the more it me off !! I know what a c kite is I was unclear if they improved the safety system on the bar on the following years .. I got the kite in a packaged deal ... The other kite i got rocks its just this one that he threw in the deal for a few bucks more that I have questions on .... There's a old saying if you have nothing nice to say don't saying anything at all !!!!!

I was making a joke at the answer Van gave. I know Van, have met him many times at many places, done a lot of business with him and I will continue to do it for a long time to come. Thats why I quoted him and made the remark to him. Wasnt pointed at you in the least way.

As for your "added in C-kite", you are not the only one to get the junk that someone else didnt want. Any idea why you find this stuff on Craigs List and not here on the forum? You can hide for ever on CL. Here on the forum, I for one have posted all my info, I have nothing to hide.

Think for a second and put yourself in our shoes. I have calls all day long with emails and u2u's about all kinds of stuff, from very smart people to the dumbest nails in the bag. I answer all the question and emails to boot. The only dumb question is the one you didnt ask. Some of us are a bit more honest about our answers, while others will tell you anything you want to hear. They will side with you and later on stab you in the back with all there buddies. I dont play that game, ask me and I will answer you with the truth, ask anyone. I have told some that what they are looking for is not in my shop, and I will be happy to send you to the right place.

Now for a simple solution to the problem with your C-kite, I will offer you the same deal I offer all of my customers.
I take trade-ins on all kinds of kite stuff. I know what you have and when I sell it it will be to a person who understands what they are buying and it will be what they want. I woulndt think of selling anything to a person with out them understanding what they are getting. I dont sell on CL, but I do buy off CL, Got some great deals and passed on the others.
