axel bolts
Broke an axel bolt (sheared right offf) the other day. Its an older Rockville Kite tryke. I went to local hardware store and other Big Box stores
and couldn't find suitable replacement. Where do I go for these? Rockville site has no Parts link or I can't find from mobile phone.

You could always get a length of threaded rod and a nylock and simply hacksaw to length.....

140mm! (well, they were for my flexi bug at least).
And try to get 8.8 tensile if you can. Some tests were done by guys in the UK. Less than that and they would bend too easily. More and although it was
stronger when they did fail they snapped, instead of bending which isn't ideal !

The originals were grade 3 and had a hex head. Nothing wrong with upgrading to a hex bolt and at least grade 5. It does not have to to be Stainless
Steel. I replaced the ones on a couple of buggies with grade 8 and black steel, cost 3.50 each at Tacoma Screw(they are a couple miles away and they
have everything, they are located a block away from High Striengh Fasteners, which is across the street from Fastenal. I can always stop at HD or
Lowes.)

Been very busy with working 2 jobs so free time is non exhistent. but need to repair and get some spares so this doesn't happen again. Luckily after
dusting myself off and gathering wheel (120 feet) from me and packing up a huge storm rolled in. Was quite breezy and my fat @$$ must have been too
much. I'll let you know what I get thanks for all the info
