RC Landyacht

Does anyone have a RC landyacht they are thinking about selling? Was going to purchase a rc sailboat but thinking that one of these with some mini ice blades will let me enjoy both parking lots and the frozen pond so....
I'll be at WW too. Thanks.

hey bec
have you been to wildwood for the blast. you would of seen me playing with my rc sailers. i have about 6 of them. a few i got as kits and 2 of them i made from visons in my head.
there are plans on the net on how to make them. i even seen some for sale on ebay. i would sell one of my kits to you. but i would like for you to see and try it before you buy it.
if you are coming to wildwood in the fall i bring a few with me and let anybody play with them and i can bring another one to sell you.

Saw this the other day.. have fun. I tried one (like this) on the tennis court before I sat in my Manta. Basic and a little servo lag/? but was great for learning. I have seen a much bigger one occasionally.

Sometimes you just don't have the time and just want to buy it done so you can enjoy it NOW....I know I could make one but...I have a ton of other projects that need to get done.

@Bugymangp....I am going to WW this year...You couldn't keep me away from that fun if you paid me.....I'd love for you to bring a couple that you are willing to sell or just try them out. Do you have little skates for them or are those pretty easy to fabricate? If I'm going to toss money at a toy I would like to be able to use it year round. Thanks.

hey bec
i know you said you wanted blades for ice. i never tried to make blades for my sailers. i use whatever wheels i find. like rollerblade wheels. those are good for power slides.
rc cars foam and rubber wheels those are good for grip. and even rc plane rubber wheels those are good for bumpy grounds. the few kits i made can be made in a few hours times. they don`t take that long to make. the ones i home built did take some time only cause i had to play with diff axle and sailer lengths and sail sizes and wheels. i used alot of parts from rc cars and planes.
i will bring like 3 or 4 diff sailers for you to try a WW the only thing if i do go and sell you one of my sailers i want to keep the radio gear. servos, tx and rx. so you will need to spend about 60$ to 100$ for radio gear. i could use my radio gear for other things. the 2 i made from my head cost me about 200$. they are fun to play with. the thing i like is watching the sail load up with wind as you can`t feel what the sailer is doing like a full size one. one draw back is when it flipps over you got to do the walk.
