Kite size help
I'm 15 and quite small built, I have a few 2 line parafoils and I'm looking to get a 4 line which has a bit more power, but I really don't know what
size to get. I was thinking around a 3 metre span but would this be too powerful for me? thank you

Big question.... approximately how much do you weigh? And what are the typical winds in your area? Those two questions will factor greatly into how
much kite you can comfortably hold down.

I weigh 8 stone which is roughly 51kg and the wind are generally quite low like 2-4 Bft but they do pick up in winter.

Also, are you looking at Buggying, Boarding, Jumping or just static flying?

<* Purposely leaving the Cross Quattro off the list because I think it is hard to source in the UK *>
Elliot Magma II 2.0M
Flexifoil Sting 2.4M
HQ Alpha 2.5M
HQ Beamer 2.0m
Ozone Imp Quattro 2.5M
Ozone Octane 2.0M
Ozone Flow 2.0M
Peter Lynn Hornet 2.0M
PKD Buster Soulfly 2.2M
OK.... that's a decent list to start off with.
If there is anyone either individual or kiting group that flies in your area, that's a great advantage in shopping for a kite.
If you are working with a modest budget, you might want to look at the "For Sale" section of KiteCrowd which is a UK based kite forum. There are often deals there on kites in good condition that are sold off as people upgrade.
