So long story short, I built my dog a bed these past couple weeks. I went into Home Depot told them what I built and asked for a super high quality
paint that would also work well on our walls. I walked out with Behr Premium Plus, Ultra Deep Base, Satin, and Semi-Gloss, 100% Acrylic, Enamel paint
(one can satin, one can semi-gloss).
I was under the impression that, it might be in my interest to apply a clear coat, once the paint has cured (to make the paint harder to scuff). I
was thinking a urethane finish, but can't find an answer if it is necessary and what type of clear coat is best. I was reading about minwax
polycrylic clear coat, but not sure if it would work without yellowing the paint, and again it it is worth it.
I'm not much of a carpenter, but so far it has turned out fairly nice; so, I want to keep it that way. Anyone here with wood working skills have any
insight what to do?? Should I just leave it cure and be happy with it, or any products you could recommend? I'll post a picture soon, so you guys can
see what I've created.
