I liked it but the editing was really crappy. Should have been one continuous shot of what was happening not repeated shots back to the crowd.

In general I like Rube Goldberg Machine's, but the Coke one has faarrrrrr too much excitement and screaming etc for my liking..
Perhaps I'm getting grumpy and cynical in my old age... Hah..

And I'm not quite sure I like these rather forced attempts by companies at viral advertisement campaigns..

Forced is always debateable, but companies have been attempting viral advertisement campaigns for a very, very long time. I expect that this ad is firmly embedded in the collective unconscious of some of our older forum members.

To make you happy, here's one...
Coke? Check
Rube Goldberg Machine? Check?
Excitement and screaming? Nicely tempered by the "doing silly things with your family" vibe. It's always interesting to see how familys will entertain themselves when their cable cuts out or they forgot to charge their tablets.

Bonus Points: Since it's also the "I'd Like to Buy the World a Coke" song... making for a nice segue.

And yes.... I spend waaaay too much time "deep diving" the Internet.

No matter how old you are.... I don't sleep much, so in elapsed waking hours, I'm probably much older than you. ;) Probably have grumpy and cynical covered too. :(

Sam
