Ozone and HQ are both quality manufactures… either one will get you going fine on an atb ...I’m having a problem telling a paraglider not to jump..but ukno, be careful w/ that..welcome aboard

Welcome to PKF!

Sorry you don't like that 4.5m piece of crap you got off ebay - wish you had consulted PKF before buying that, we could have saved you $55.

Nobody on the forum here is going to recommend a 5m kite as your introduction to this sport (we genuinely care about your safety), more something in the 3-4m size. I'm not sure how paragliding experience translates to flying power kites, but my guess is that the skillset is different enough to still recommend you still start with a 3-4m quality kite (Ozone, HQ, Peter Lynn, Flexifoil, PKD) and fly the crap out of it - including the ATB.

When you can fly it blindfolded, it will be time for you to step up to a larger kite grasshopper. :karate:

... then we can talk jumping ...

2m Radsails Pro (from crazyherb), 2.1m Symphony Beach II (from Amazon), 3m HQ Beamer IV (from K-Bid), 4m Pansh Flux (from garydog), 4.7m Flexifoil Rage (from mougl), 5.6m PL Twister IIR (from Big Mike), 6m Flysurfer Peak 1 (from Flysurfer USA), 11m HQ Neo II (from kiteplace), 19m PL Venom II (from Smeagol), MBS Core 95 ATB (from Overstock.com), couple of ROSSIGNOL snowboards w/ SIS "click" bindings

For a beginner, your best kites to start with would be wither the HQ Rush IV Pro, the Ozone Ignition, or the Ozone Quattro. A size 3.0 or 2.5 would be best to start for any of these three kites.
