what time saturday

Hi everyone I am trying to figure out what time I need to go out to the beach on Saturday. What time are you all going to be there? Also what time does it typically get windy?

On the days I will be there (31st, 1st, and the 2nd)....I am usually there at the crack of dawn and stay till sunset.
Even if there is no wind...just hanging out on the beach is great.
Look for my Jeep:smilegrin:

I think low tide isn't until about 4:30 on Saturday ? If that is correct then you either want to be there very early or arrive about 1:30 or 2pm . You can drive on the beach at high tide with 4x4 but not with regular vehicles.

If you go in at Sunset Beach entrance we are usually up to the right a mile or more.

Shoot... it appears Saturday will be a little tough for me to make due to tides, timing and travel (driving out from Portland). I assume that, in addition to automobiles, you can't ride bug on the beach at high tide (or severely hampered), right?

Anyway, we might be able to make it out Monday instead. Will anyone still be there, and can we borrow some wheels when we get there? I'll be bringing my board, but the buggy is too expensive (and unwieldy) to bring on the plane.

Thanks, and I really look forward to meeting you all. I think the only dude I've already met for sure is JeffKid.
