No camping at east beach but what about north.

I know there is no camping but I was looking at google maps, and north of east beach is just a short ferry ride and your there. Is it buggyable? I can't really tell from the pics but it may be an option. Especially if we can camp there.

I have been told that you can camp on the beach at bolivar but I have not. It has been talked about in the past but we decided that not everyone would want to ride the ferry back and forth if they were staying in Galveston.
