Brakes on Kite Buggys

Hello, I'm from the NKBRA, aka Nick bra, aka National Kite Buggy Regulatory Agency.

The BHO administration has satellite footage from the NSA, of 3 wheel buggy type vehicles things traveling at high rates of speed in National Parks, dry lake beds, public beaches and soccer fields WITHOUT brakes and this has to stop, ASAP!

Altho we only know how to regulate, we believe that all such 3 wheel buggy things require brakes from this point forward. We have no idea as how to put brakes on a buggy thing, we just require them.

Please submit idea's to Nick bra or this forum so we can forward them the the National Safety Transportation Bureau for consideration and testing.

Until further notice, all kite buggy thingies are to be parked until a satisfactory brake design has been approved.

Thanks for your understanding, and submissions.
The Kite Buggy Police. aka Nick bra

I just tie a big rock onto a rope and toss it out when I need to stop. :)

Greetings awindofchange, aka Kent

I am NKBRA Kite Buggy Police Man Obe Scuddly.

Your recent post on PKF has identified as a violator of NKBRA rule BR549, buggy thingie operation without brakes.

You are also in violation of EPA rule BR549a, using a big rock.

And also National Park Service rule NABX2012, removing a big rock from a national park.

We are still looking into the rope as it could also be a violation, depending on the type of rope. Hemp rope can only be used for medical conditions. Was it HEMP???

Oh, and don't forget being a litter bugger. "-) Rule M363 notpickeruper.

Please send your fine of a new Peter Lynn Base Harness and roller spreader bar to sellsbs@yahoo.com

Thanks you
NKBRA

"I just tie a big rock onto a rope."

I don't think it is that easy to tie rocks. They tend to break when you try to bend them into a knot.

Some buggy thingy people just keep going. They don't intend to stop at any time. Do these such people need brakie thingies on there three wheeled buggy thingies too? How do these new regulations affect tandemie set upie thingies? Do the trailer two wheelie buggy thingies need brakes as well? "AND" if the Tandemie two wheelie buggy thingie has brakes does the original three wheel buggy thingie still need to have these pre discussed brakes too?

I wouldn't mind brakes. The people I buggy with can powerslide the rear wheels, the whole buggy or just the front wheels to get it to slow down or redirect. They'd say, "Brakes? We don't need no dam.. brakes!!")
I only get to ride a few times a year and wouldn't mind brakes.

I can't tell you how many times I've seen people run over and cut their lines on the ice. Ice blades are not forgiving. It's usually during a lull in the winds when the kites fall from the sky or when they are stopping to talk to friends. That's when even the experts needs brakes or something. Itrs a very expensive way to end the day.

I fancy using brakes too. Our local spit of sand is too small to waste on sliding. It'd be nice to squeeze out every last inch out for speed runs. Direct downwind travel would also become possible for those with space and might prove useful for people who take part in races.

One word.... PARABRAKE!
The last time I checked the kite WAS your engine and your BRAKE . Quit being a bunch of new age wussies and just stop the dam thing. If ya got to have brakes, stay on your golf cart or 4- wheeler,or what ever other lazyman's vehicle you have at your disposal. Remember, you fell in love with the "KITEBUGGY", the KITE is the BRAKE...

I used the break for the first time today on my blokart. When I get home I'm going to take it off and throw it away.
I want to hear about the first person who puts a brake on their buggy, and when they stop the buggy and I kinda still powered up and pulls them to China and they have no face left when they get there they can let us know if it was a good idea or not.

Attention, I'm Officer Obe Scuddley from the NKBRA, aka Nick bra, aka National Kite Buggy Regulatory Agency.
I have been monitoring this forum and have your URL's and personal information thanks to the NSA.
After a complete examination of brakes on kites, we have concluded that the kite can stop but not the buggy. Therefore you all are running illegal! and this must stop at once. Bad buggy people!

As for tandem rigs, except for Big Kids conglomeration, a hand thrown para brake might just work. Still testing this idea at the National Safety Transportation Bureau.

But Big Kid, when loaded up and rollin, if using a slide to slow down will throw a passenger out the side. He must move Blo Kart brakes to his big buggy at once! He will be ticketed for littering if he throws them away!

As to face replacement, your Obamacare insurance should cover that or at-least fix it, only a $15,248.00 deductible.
