Friday Night Videos!

Hey everyone, I just got off the phone with Danny He has donated a projector to the WBB. Claude and Danny have talked and we will have Video night Friday night! Videos will be Kite Boarding, Kite Buggying, and other Power kiting related videos. We should have the ability to play past videos of WBB as well as raw footage from others SD cards of the event in progress. Most likely we will do this upstairs on the second floor deck so that there is ample room for everyone to pull up a chair and watch! If you have any videos you would like to share, bring them or write them down so we can find them.

Yet another great addition to the WBB! Someone bring some popcorn!

curious

What kind of projector is this? Not the old fashion film reel kind... obviously!

Does this mean you can use Youtube stuff...or what can you 'capture' from what source to project to a screen(TV monitor, white projector screen or whatever you use...?).

I guess movie night is on the activities list...:bisou:

From what Dan was saying, yes we should be able to hook up to a computer and pull up youtube stuff as well. I am working on getting a screen now.

timing is everything..

....a roll down/fold down projector screen on stand was just put out on street for trash, next to my house a few days ago. Looked at it and thought if it could be useful... and passed on it :(

Anyway....

Looks like internet and memory cards will work as material source options.

I am fortunate enough to know a guy that has a piece of movie quality projector screen material sitting around that he will gladly let me borrow. Should make for a great night.

I have an older but intact movie screen I can try to remember t bring. It is standard sixe and rolls p with a stand and fancy dancy carry box. Now where did I put that thing? Oh well I have time to look for it.

If you do find it Dave, let me know, it would be a lot easier to set up.

Movie choices

Do they all have to be kiting videos? How about a variety of adventure videos of different things mixed in w/ kiting....?
