Been a while since...



...I considered doing this myself. I always prefer to learn from other people's mistakes/injuries and instead of trying foolish things myself. I imagine it was pretty fun til he hit the water though. I really wouldn't mind learning how to paraglide someday. I think that is a better way to fly.

There is a tether at Hood River. I wonder how many get hurt on it?

Well, I know you guys frown on this in general, but for what it's worth- he did it wrong. His tether was already taught and he looped it again, which is what snapped the tether.
